I found myself throwing out some empty beauty products recently, and I thought it might be a good time to do a quick review of them. Enjoy!
Shea Moisture African Black Soap Clarifying Facial Wash and Scrub: I have multiple facial scrubs in my bathroom. Some of them are for my night time beauty routine, and some, like this one, are for my shower facial cleansing. This product is available at most major department stores like Target, and of course, on Amazon, and costs about $8. I really like this product and would definitely buy it again.
Kristin Ess The One Signature Shampoo: I bought this because of the pretty packaging and it was only $10, but to be honest, this product was just ok. It is entirely possible that this product doesn’t do my hair any favors, but I was dissatisfied by the lack of foam - there was more than one occasion when I had to shampoo twice just to get my hair to feel clean. Overall, I’m not compelled to buy this one again.
Swell Skin Hydrate Radiate Serum: I’ve been a big fan of this serum since it was introduced last year. This was my second bottle and I ordered my replacement bottles before this one was completely finished. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth, which is saying a LOT because I don’t use a lot of products. My summer morning routine is just this, followed by sunblock + bronzing drops and I’m frequently make-up free. Every time I try another serum I always come back to this one because it is so effective. It’s available at the Swell Skin website, and retails for $25, but you can take 10% off your order with the code SHIBANI10.
That’s it for this edition of reviewing the empties - I’ll be back soon with more beauty product reviews!!
