Romance and Glamor In the Woods

I love weddings. My favorite part of a wedding is watching the groom's reaction as he watches his bride walk down the aisle. There's always so much love and tenderness, and a little bit of awe in that moment -- it always makes me melt a little inside. 

You've already heard about Bombay Taxi's Bridal Collection debut but I wanted to share some images from a styled photo shoot created in collaboration with some absolutely wonderful wedding vendors. 

We picked a gorgeous location in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and even though our models were not really getting married, they are a real life couple, and romance was definitely in the air.

Calling all Brides

Oh hi there! It's a brand new year and I know some of you may have gone through some major life changes over the holiday season. If you were one of those women who received an extra special sparkly bauble (ahem, an engagement ring), CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hope you enjoy this special time with your beloved before you get pulled into the mayhem of wedding planning.

This year, for the first time ever, Bombay Taxi Boutique will participate in Boutique Bridal Bazaar, a carefully curated bridal event that brings together some of the most unique bridal vendors in Cleveland.

You may be reading this post and thinking "huh?! I didn't know Bombay Taxi did bridal?" and you would be right. This year's Boutique Bridal Bazaar will be the debut of our bridal collection, which includes jewelry for the big day, and all the wonderful events leading up to it (your engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner). We also have a lovely collection of accessories for your bridesmaids, and will have some new product offerings around gifts for the bridal party as well. Our pieces will be non-traditional, so if you're looking for something out of the norm for your wedding day accessories, perhaps a way to showcase your personality, I think you will like our collection. I could show you some pictures, but the truth is, I would much rather see you in person at the event!!

So I hope you'll stop by and say "Hello!" between 1-5 pm on Sunday, January 29th at Cleveland Public Library!

2016 Cleveland Orchestra Gala

This past weekend, Nick and I attended the Cleveland Orchestra Gala with The Circle - The Cleveland Orchestra's Young Professionals. This was our second time attending this exclusive black tie event, and the discounted YP tickets are one of my favorite perks of being a member of The Circle. As always, it was a beautiful concert with our award winning, internationally renowned Cleveland Orchestra, and since it is the Orchestra's biggest fundraising event, it is very much black tie - lots of gowns and tuxes. 

As I do for most cocktail parties and black tie events, I ordered my dress via Rent the Runway, and styled it with the ESHA bracelet in Emerald and DEEPIKA earrings. The emerald stones in the center of the earrings paired beautifully with the large cabochon emerald quartz in the bracelet; coordinated without being matchy. I rounded off the look with a pair of gold sandals, a black clutch (so Nick and I could mirror our color palettes) and a bold, red lip.
