It’s been a little bit of time since I’ve done one of these podcast round-ups, and I’ve been listening to a fair amount of business podcasts lately. If career development is one of your goals for 2021, you may want to consider subscribing to some of these - you could even use your break to catch up with some recent episodes! As with everything, not every episode will appeal or apply to you - feel free to skip those, but you should certainly explore the ones that are relevant to your industry, career stage, or generally sound interesting!

How to be Awesome At your Job: I’ve been a long-time listener to this podcast, and while all the episodes may not apply to you, it offers an extensive resource to cherry-pick topics. Definitely explore their extensive episode history!
Business Casual: Created by the team behind Morning Brew, this podcast covers a range of topics including founder interviews, tech, finance, direct to consumer brands, and more.
Pivot: This one is on my must-listen podcast and I don’t skip episodes, in part because I really enjoy Scott and Kara, but also because their insights on tech and business and the intersection of politics are always interesting. If you want a gateway into career and business podcasts, this is the one you should start with!
HBR IdeaCast: This podcast is geared toward business leadership, so if you’re a business leader, or aspire to be one, this is one you should listen to.
Dare to Lead with Brene Brown: This one is a Spotify original, so it’s a little inconvenient to switch too if you don’t already listen to podcasts on Spotify, but it’s 100% worth it, both for the guests, but also for the leadership lessons!
