We are a lifestyle blog and jewelry boutique for women who love style and travel

We believe in celebrating simple pleasures every day. We believe in playing dress up. We believe in champagne on a weekday. We believe every woman is fabulous. We believe the world is a magical place. We believe in the power of travel. We believe that knowledge is power. We believe that love is love.

Bombay Taxi Boutique was launched on November 24, 2015 by founder Shibani Faehnle.  In addition to our popular lifestyle blog, we offer a thoughtfully curated selection of limited-edition jewelry hand-crafted by artisans in India and in Cleveland, Ohio. All our jewelry is limited edition and in 2019 we took it one step further with a One of A Kind Collection.

ABOUT SHIBANI

Hi! I'm Shibani. A transplant from Mumbai, India, I've lived in Cleveland, Ohio for the past 15 years with my husband Nick, and our three rescue dogs - Clair, Webster, and Reggie.

I started writing a blog in 2010 as a way to document things I was doing in my city of Cleveland. In 2015, I decided to pivot and open an online jewelry boutique inspired by my home Mumbai, and my love for travel and style. Since then my blog has evolved to a true lifestyle blog where I cover a variety of topics. My goal is to introduce you to new products, places, people and experiences that I absolutely LOVE, with the hope that you love them too! I’m inspired by conscious consumerism, so expect to see a lot of smaller, newer brands on the blog. I do occasionally work with larger, more well-known brands, but only where I truly resonate with the brand, their messaging, and their commitment to diversity and inclusion.
