Friday Five 12.4.2020: 5 Things I'm Looking Forward to in December

November flew by at breakneck speed - between Diwali and NIck’s birthday, a weekend getaway to Sugarcreek, Ohio, and then Thanksgiving, and small business week, the month was over in a flash. And now as we head into December, I’m looking forward to a slower pace, and a few other things…

  1. I started a new job!!: In the midst of all the craziness, I snuck in a life change and started a new job with the London Stock Exchange Group’s ELITE program. Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere - Bombay Taxi has always been a passion project, and that’s not going to change. I’m also not relocating - the ELITE HQ is coming to Cleveland! You can learn more about my new job here.

  2. Charity’s style challenge: My friend and fellow blogger Charity Crawford is hosting a fun style challenge this month. I’ve really enjoyed participating so far - like everyone else, I have no place to go this holiday season, but it’s been fun to have a reason to not wear sweats every day.

  3. Quiet Christmas at home: Nick and I have a tradition of eating ourselves silly on Christmas Eve and then snacking all Christmas day while watching Star Wars.

  4. Getting back into regular workouts: I fell off the workout wagon in late October and November, and I haven’t felt great about it. I’m looking forward to getting back into it.

  5. Planning for next year! My favorite part of the end of the year is planning for the year to come. I think I’m going to do another vision board this year - I skipped 2020, and well.. looks like it was the right move. But 2021 is a new year, and there’s a vaccine on the way, and things are looking up!!

I’ve been very shimmery and shiny participating on video calls with my new colleagues LOL
