Guys, today is my first day of work at my new job!!! And I am SOOOOO excited. It’s been 6 months since I’ve had to set an alarm to wake up to go to work, and while I’ve really enjoyed my “sabbatical” it feels so good to be starting again with something brand new.

My new role is Director, Business Growth & Development Services for Greater Cleveland Partnership, the nation’s largest Chamber of Commerce. In my new role, I will be meeting with the C-Suite executives of middle market and large corporate businesses across the Greater Cleveland area, understanding their strategic objectives, and helping them stimulate new job creation and capital investments in the region.

This is the perfect blend of my background in finance and my passion for my adopted home. I’m so excited to start this new chapter in my life, and what better timing than the Indian New Year!! I probably won’t say a whole lot else about my job on this blog - if you’ve been following along for a while, then you know that I tend to keep my career pretty separate from my blog. That said, I am going to write some posts broadly related to career advice based on all the things I’ve learned so far!

Rest assured, I’ve set things up here at Bombay Taxi Boutique to minimize any disruption, but if you do see me posting on the blog later in the day than I normally do, I hope you will offer me the space to figure out this new balance.

In the mean time, I’m really thankful for each and every one of you and for all your support this year, particularly in the past six months! I’m so excited for what comes next!!!
