The Gift Guide for The Foodies in Your Life

I love food. I love cooking, I love eating. I don’t love baking, but that’s what bakeries and pastry shops are for. And I’ve done a series of these gift guides, so I figured I’d do one more, this time for the foodies in your life. And because this one is relatively late in the season, I’ve limited this list to things you can buy on Amazon last minute and still receive in time with prime shipping. That said, please don’t wait TOO long - you are running out of time.

Cookbooks

I have a trick - I loan out cookbooks from our public library and then test them out for several weeks before deciding if I want them for real. As a result, I’ve come up with a shortlist of some of my favorite cookbooks from this year.

*If you’re looking for specific recommendations for my favorite Indian Cookbooks, check out my blog post on The Best Indian Cookbooks (if you’re not Indian) for the most accessible, easy to understand Indian food recipes.

Kitchen Essentials

If you’re looking to gift cookware, Great Jones cookware definitely lives up to the hype. I own their small fry (small frying pan) and I’m not joking when I say it has changed the way I cook. Highly recommend.

But if you’re gifting on the smaller end, these are all tools that I own that are small, but make a big impact. From the herb scissors to easily chop up big or small quantities of fresh herbs, to the salt box for fabulously flaky maldon salt and more - they are great standalone gifts or stocking stuffers.

Serveware

Once you’ve cooked the food or made the cocktails, you need to serve them, and here are some of the piece that I either own or are on my own wishlist!

There you have it - a quick last minute gift guide for the foodies in your life!! I hope these ideas get you over that final pre-holiday hump!!

Disclosure: if you buy any of these items using the links I’ve provided here, I will receive a tiny commission for introducing you to these items. This does not impact the price you pay in any way. As always, these are items I’ve either tested myself or are on my personal wishlist.
