Friday Five 8.14.2020: Amazon Clothing I've bought, and bought again

As I’ve said before, I’ve been a long-time subscriber of Rent the Runway’s subscription program, and as a result, I don’t end up buying too much additional clothing. When I shop, I do end up buying pieces on Amazon, and while some of the stuff on there is garbage fast fashion, they also have some decent offerings that I’ve purchased more than once! Today’s Friday Five is about those purchases.

My FAVORITE Amazon clothing purchases have come via The Drop - Amazon’s collaboration with influencers and designers on capsule collections. They have a new Drop every couple of weeks, and the only way to make sure you don’t miss out on these very limited edition collections is by signing up for text alerts. I’ve bought 3 dresses through the Drop this summer alone - I LOVE them all. They also have a selection of staples that are great closet essentials.

I’m obsessed with this blousy t-shirt that is lightweight and comfortable and looks adorable with both shorts and jeans. This is always one of my first wears every time I run whites through the laundry!

If you’re looking for a cute sundress, I highly recommend this one. I wear it both with and without the tie belt, and I’m looking forward to carrying this into the fall with a jean jacket or leather jacket or some other chic layer.

Daily Ritual has some really nice, soft basics, but the supersoft jumpsuit is one of my favorite purchases. In general, I love jumpsuits because they feel like pjs but look pulled together, and this jumpsuit is getting a lot of wash and wear, and I’m happy to report that it holds up really well!

On those cooler days you will find me pairing my Daily Ritual jumpsuit with a hoodie. I’m also a sucker for stripes, so this striped hoodie, also in the supersoft material was a no-brainer. Expect to see a lot more of this as we head into fall!!

Do you have any Amazon favorites for clothing that aren’t merely fast fashion that falls apart quickly? Let me know in the comments!!
