When I first asked my friend Kimberly to contribute to this post, it was originally about the beauty products she would take if she were stranded on a dessert island. Well, things being what they are, they could easily apply to beauty products to be quarantined with. Regardless, Kimberly tests so many beauty products that I trust her to offer her opinion on beauty must-haves no matter the reason.
So here’s Kimberly:
Tinted Moisturizer: I'm a fan of anything that provides multiple benefits. I'm not talking about a lot of the tinted moisturizers on the market today but the type that are actual moisturizers. My go-to is Origins VitaZing SPF15. This has tiny spheres that adapt to your skin's color, giving you a hint of tint and wonderful glow.
Lip Balm: I'm not even going to Target without this. Two that I'm never without are Image Skincare Ormedic Lip Complex and Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. I use Image for a cushiony feel and Bite Beauty when I need something rich and intensive.
Color: I use Nars The Multiple for blush or bronzer in either South Beach or Orgasm and it's great patted onto lips.
Moroccanoil is fantastic for both wet and dry styling and it keeps my hair moisturized. One bonus is that it acts as a barrier to protect hair from saltwater.
Sunscreen is mandatory and Suntegrity Natural Mineral SPF30 is my go-to. It has a luxurious citrus scent and is available unscented too.
